Job Description

Within the Development department, the Project Manager is responsible for all or part of the development of energy production facility projects (solar, wind, battery) in specific geographic areas. The main objective of the position is to obtain all the necessary permits to launch the project. The Project Manager coordinates all the required specialized engineering firms and ensures the necessary consultation processes to bring together the various stakeholders around the project.

As the project leader for their assigned projects, the Project Manager is involved from the identification/prospecting phases, directing the territorial development officers to their assigned territories, and then coordinating the studies and permitting process. They then support the construction and operations teams to ensure that regulatory requirements are properly addressed.

Your responsibilities will include

Supporting the prospecting and securing of new potential sites,
Managing relationships with relevant local authorities to gain their support for projects,
Ensuring consultation with all stakeholders,
Initiating, monitoring, and coordinating necessary studies with the support of internal and external experts,
Submitting applications for administrative authorizations and monitoring their processing with government agencies until authorizations are granted,
Developing project progress schedules and budgets,
Providing regular reports to your superiors and partners.

This position requires regular travel within the region and occasional travel throughout France (to our offices, events).

Profile

We are interested in several profiles, including those with an Engineering degree or a Master’s degree (Urban Planning and Regional Development, Geography, Environment, etc.). A natural project manager, your expertise will be put to use for the projects and regions where we operate. Experience in local authorities or engineering firms is valued, as our internal training framework allows for the rapid acquisition of the fundamentals of energy production projects. Your interpersonal skills will enable you to build consensus among teams. You have a proven track record in project management and are able to work independently to achieve your objectives.

Compensation: Fixed salary based on experience + performance bonus + profit-sharing
